Product thinking, engineering craft.

I took the long way into engineering. Years as a product manager taught me how businesses actually decide what to build. Then I learned to build it myself, and never looked back.

Today I'm a growth engineer at ClassPass, working on the flows where product decisions meet production traffic: signup, checkout, experimentation, and the observability that tells you whether any of it worked. I ship across the stack: React and Next.js on the front, React Native on mobile, Node.js services behind them.

What sets me apart is range. I can argue the experiment design in the morning and debug the race condition it exposed in the afternoon. I don't just write code, I own outcomes.

  1. September 2025 - PresentSoftware Engineer III · ClassPass (Playlist)

    Consumer Growth engineer shipping across web, mobile, and backend for the leading fitness & wellness membership platform. (Remote)

    • ▹Ship product and growth features across the full stack (React/Next.js web, React Native mobile, and a Node.js BFF), with 100+ PRs merged across 10 repositories in the past year
    • ▹Tech-led a multi-variant pricing experiment end to end across 6 services: technical grooming, implementation, launch, per-variant observability, and post-launch analysis
    • ▹Owned the migration of the phone-verification flow, part of the signup critical path, across 4 repositories and 2 languages, from protobuf/gRPC service work in Kotlin to the Next.js frontend, and flipped it live in production with a zero-downtime router cutover
    • ▹Designed and shipped a company-wide in-app developer tools panel (Preact + Shadow DOM, framework-agnostic), taking it from empty repo to production in about 5 weeks. It is now shared infrastructure for every ClassPass web engineer
    • ▹Led incident response for site-wide SEO regressions: same-day root cause and fix, authored the postmortems, and ran the cross-functional debriefs

Pipe MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol server that unifies developer context across GitHub, Slack, Jira, Linear, and Notion

case study
Situation
Developers lose context switching between GitHub, Slack, Jira, Linear, and Notion all day. I wanted one place where an AI tool could see all of it.
Task
Build an MCP server that pulls those platforms into a unified context graph with real-time updates.
Action
Implemented the MCP spec on a Node.js server with PostgreSQL for storage, Redis for caching and queues, Neo4j for the relationship graph, per-platform OAuth, WebSocket updates, and BullMQ for background jobs.
Result
A working MCP server with JWT auth, real-time sync, and a modular design that makes adding a new platform a small, contained change.

Situation
I wanted to explore what production-quality React components look like when AI streaming is a first-class feature rather than a bolt-on.
Task
Build a small component library around React 19 features, streaming AI responses, and a coherent design system.
Action
Built SmartDataTable and AISearchBar in TypeScript with real-time streaming responses, optimistic updates, and a documented design system, then published a live demo site.
Result
A live, documented component demo that shows streaming AI patterns working inside real React 19 components.

An autonomous AI news agent for the SUI blockchain, built on the Eliza framework

case study
Situation
AI agent frameworks were moving fast and I wanted hands-on experience running one autonomously, not just reading about them.
Task
Build an agent on the Eliza framework that could operate across multiple platforms without babysitting.
Action
Built the agent in TypeScript with custom behaviors, response systems, and multi-platform integrations, then ran it as a live news product.
Result
A functioning autonomous agent that ran in production for a while and taught me more about agent reliability than any tutorial could.

iOS Room Scanning App

Situation
Bluepine needed to evaluate whether phone-based 3D room scanning was good enough for real property workflows.
Task
Build a native iOS prototype on Apple's RoomPlan API to capture and export accurate room models.
Action
Built the app in Swift and SwiftUI with a real-time scanning interface and export functionality for captured room data.
Result
A working prototype that answered the feasibility question with a real artifact instead of a slide deck.
